When you have a child that is in a crummy mood, do the other children tend to get into that same crummy mood? If so how do you handle that and what do you do to get them into better moods with out gettig into a crummy mood yourself?

depends...

alex's terrible two thing is throwing himself down and screaming bloody murder until he get what he wants or something to distract him..
however when ashlyn( 3 year) gets in trouble for something and she starts crying. alex will turn on the water works because someone else is crying....

my 3 year old doesnt just randomly cry why people around her are sad....

how do i handle it?!?! i dont know i just do...

my kids are still young so they dont get in bad moods that last more then 5 minutes lol. (ds is 3,dd is 16 months)

when my son gets punished my daughter cries though.

That hasn't happened quite yet with my 2. They are 4 and 1, and so not too close in age to have that happen....yet!! Good luck!

I try to find something to turn their mood around. If I find that I just cannot save their mood for the day, I try to separate them by giving them chores in opposite rooms, or getting them doing solo activities in their own rooms.
