How many us us were raised in Christian homes and how many of us came to Christ in another way?
I definately was not raised in a Christian household. I was invited to attend a youth group as a freshman in High School, once I went I haven't quit, I don't even want to think about what my life would be like had I not found Christ
well my mom brought us to church every sunday but she didnt walk like a Christian so i dont consider myself having been raised in a Christian home. I guess thats how i knew about him and accepted him in my life but i didnt start walking like one til i was 15 and we started going to a new church.
I was raised in a nonconsistant christian home...lol....my mom was a single mom and she got us to church when she could, but she worked nights. she tried and when i was a young teen i went to youth on friday nights until i got to "cool" for them. thankfully i got that small amount...I dont know where I'd be with out it
I was raised in a Christian home, but not overly. I was never forced to go to church, but I went pretty much every Sunday with my Grandmother. I enjoyed it, but when I was in High School/College, I didn't go at all. I regret that now....
After we were married, we would go every now and then, and once my daughter was born I felt called to go back. We haven't missed many Sundays since!
I went to church off and on as a kid but my home was never a christian home. I never knew much about God until I turned 16 and was pregnant with my 1st son and asked my grandma to start taking me to church( she is the only one in my family that is christian other then my uncle but I didn't feel comfortable with his denomination) and it just so happened to be my husbands parents church as well. I have been there ever since and LOVE it!It is really nice to have so much of our family growing in God together!
I feel fortunate that I was raised in a Christian home. It's been such a blessing in my life! DH was raised very different from me, so it's been a struggle for both of us. I continue to pray that he will grow in his faith and get closer and closer with God.
