Do you know how to swim? Have you ever taken swim lessons? What about DH/children?

I took swim lessons for years when I was growing up and could swim well then, but not as much as an adult. I love to go swimming, but I'm not actually that good at doing the real swim. I like to doggy paddle! Timmy will be in swimming lessons starting next year and DH can swim very well.

I love swimming!!! I was on the swim team in high school. Lettered in it, competed at state and qualified for the jr olympics. Dh is great swimmer too. Brantley has come a long way. He hasn't taken lessons simply because life got in the way. The first summer he should have had lessons I had a baby, the second summer we moved and this summer again we are moving. But he had lots of practice last summer because we lived in a hotel for a month. He is now able to go without floaties. Jonathan is a water baby. I really have to watch him or he will just right in. He amazes people with his ability. He wears a little puddle jumper (which is a floaty that goes across his chest) Jonathan is getting a pool for his birthday this weekend.

I can't really swim that well. I kinda taught myself how to swim when I was about 16ish & could probably swim well enough to save my life if I had to. DH can swim like a fish though! Austin took swim lessons & IMO it was the BEST thing we ever did for him! He can now swim like a fish too!

I can swim really well. DH can too. Carson is only 10 months but he LOVES the water. He is going to have swim lessons as soon as he is old enough.

I'm a great swimmer..I did take lessons as a child, and later was on a swim team and worked as lifeguard. DH also swims well, although I don't think he ever had lessons.

None of the kids can swim at all. The older two have taken lessons but they didn't do well. I'm going to work with them on my own this summer, and then maybe try lessons again next year.
