I had my 28 week appt today and also did the GD test...bleh!
I went in early to drink the crap which didn't end up being that bad because it was nice and cold. After I drank the cup of orange flat glucose crap I went upstairs to my appt Baby Girl's hb started out at 135 then suddenly sped up to the 150s and Dr. U said that was a good thing I'm measuring only a week behind now, so yay! Maybe I'm catching up! Since i had some time to kill I asked her if there was any way I could make sure Baby Girl was still a Baby Girl so she quick went off to find the u/s tech and she was on her lunch break so she wasn't busy. It was like a secret mission
And to answer the question of "Did she sprout a penis?"
See for yourself!
Most definitely not! Natalie is still Natalie! That definitely puts my mind at ease!
And off topic, my nephew was born at 9am today - Joel Matthew (big brothers are Peter Thomas and Andrew Jacob) he weighed 7lbs 8oz and was 20" long. I can't wait to meet him!!!
Thank you so much *Kiliki* for another amazing siggy!
I always had that little worry in the back of my mind what if the first u/s was wrong. I always felt better when I got the confirmation too. Yeah the glucose drink isn't the best not unbearable either.
Love the u/s pic! With Austin I never drank anything for my GD diabetes, I had to eat a planned b'fast... I think it was corn flakes, a banana, so much milk, & maybe some OJ. Things have changed soooooo much from when I had Austin. Also back then I had never heard of trans-vaginal u/s.
