Joey's (son of docsmomma) lung has collapsed. They are putting a chest tube in and are moving him to PICU.

Just wanted to let everyone know that they got the chest tube placed and his lung seems to be starting to inflate, but there is a small hole that will take time to heal. He's stable though still critical. They hope to move us back to 3rd floor tomorrow and are holding the room for us. They believe that this was caused because of LCH, that the healing of the lung lesions caused a hole in his right lung, which caused it to leak into the chest, which put so much pressure on his lung that his lung collapsed. By relieving the pressure the hope is the lung will heal itself and re-inflate.
