Has anyone ever been to the marriage conference put on by Family Life? They are the same people who do Women of Faith if I am not mistaken. DH and I are thinking of going this November. I'm going to be the coordinator for my church to get the group rate for those of us interested in going.

I would LOVE to do something like that but it just wouldn't work for us, I don't think. For one thing, we NEVER spend the night away from home (both of us at the same time... one of us is ALWAYS at home) unfortunately b/c we have so many dogs to care for & dogs that don't get along very well with other people actually.

Though, when we do have a baby we do have a plan so that we can both spend the night at the hospital.

I used to be that dog person, so I understand. I have no problem leaving mine now. Being on bedrest and having a child in the hospital for 6 months cured me - and them- of their caretaking needs. Actually, want an Eskie? I can bring you one (or two) when I come down Thanksiving.
