I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to agree with each other in the Lord. 3Yes, and I ask you, loyal yokefellow,[a] help these women who have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.
Can someone break the meaning of this down for me please??
There seems to have been trouble between the two women. Although the Bible does not tell us “what” their issue was, we do know these were considered fine women who had been sharing with Paul in the preaching work for some time. So…. Paul tells those in their congregation: “help those women which laboured with me in the gospel”. (Phil 4:3)
