Just before work this afternoon I got a phone call that my Great Grandma is in bad shape. The doctor apparently said at around 11:00 this morning that she would be passing within minutes or possibly hours. She has been in the hospital for over a month fighting off a Strep C infection and getting better every day....until this morning. Today she had a massive heart attack or something and is in REALLY bad shape. Please pray for her and for the rest of the family. She is 91 years old, has 8 children and I can't even begin to guess how many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Enough people flooded into the hospital today that they completely filled three large waiting rooms and the rest were asked to wait in the cafeteria. Unfortunately I cannot make it home (1000 miles away) to see her and I haven't seen her in nearly 3 years. I don't know how the family is going to deal with this so please pray for them.
My heart goes out to you. When I lost my grandma a few years ago I said much the same, that I didn't know how to face life without her. Remember she is always with you in your heart and that you will see her again one day. Many prayers for you and your family.
Aw, hun. I'm sorry. I lost my grandmother in April of 2008. I STILL haven't come to terms with it. I keep my mind on Heaven... that I will see her again, and she will be fully restored and able to run and play with me like she did when I was a kid. it always puts a smile on my face...
