I didn't go this morning, I picked up my husband from the hospital. If I don't go to church on Sunday I usually watch Joel Osteen or Joyce Meyer. But not this morning, and I feel like I'm missing something now.
He gives the childless woman a family,
making her a happy mother.
Praise the Lord!
I have a really good Sunday school group. It is a woman's bible study. We do a lot of round table discussion. There is a good mix of old and young and I always feel like I learn something. We are studying the aspect of different virtues. (faith, hope love, goodness, etc) Today's was redemption. It was kind of obscure vrs out of Isaiah, but God really reviels himself through people earnestly seeking his word.
I taught the older kids at children's church today. We did, 911-Trusting God for your rescue. At one point in one of the exercises we were doing we all were standing on top of the tables. Of course just at that time, the other children's church teacher happens to walk by and look in the door, and stand there a watch us for a while. Aaaahhhhh, yeah, we really are all standing on top of tables. But there is a point here.
I love working with the older kids. They really are starting to put things together and ask question. Today we worked out the math to find out how long Noah was in the ark for.
