Yesterday morning, we missed church. DH wasn't feeling well and turned off the alarm before I ever even heard it. By the time I woke up, there was no possible way for me to make it to the early service. The late service was out of the question because I had to be in Culpeper by 1 (an hour drive from the church) and service wouldn't let out until 12:30.

Needless to say, I was frustrated and annoyed. I really wanted to be in church yesterday. Well, on my way to my mom's (I rode with her to Culpeper.) I decided to tune the radio to the local Contemporary Christian station that I rarily listen to anymore (because of reception at home). Let me tell, I honestly feel I got more out of listening to the station and through prayer than I would have had DH, Niecelet, and I gone to church. It was awesome. He really used WPER to reach me yesterday! The messages of the songs were exactly what I needed to hear. What was odd, was all the songs followed the same theme, which the station doesn't usually do. I know He laid it on the DJs heart so that I could be reminded.

Isn't He awesome?

That is awesome! He always reminds up of exactly what we need! Is that station a Spirit FM station? The reason I ask is I used to live in Central Virginia and know they expanded.

I'm not sure. WPER has been around up here for at least 8 or 9 years.
