We talked about three deadly words...I am only. We read the passage from Jeremiah about the Lord calling him as a prophet and Jeremiah saying...But I am only a child. We talked about not saying those words, and instead saying that we are children of God and he loves us. It was a message that hit home. I have been smacked over the head by God about an overhaul in the parenting department- and this is just another tool I can teach my kiddos. They can do anything- as long as they believe, because God will be their strength.
Today's Sunday school and church coincided so perfectly today. Both topics was about courage.
Sadrack, Meshack and Abednigo, (I am sure I didn't spell these right) and the fiery furnace and when Peter and John defend their faith in front of the Sanhedrin. They all boldly stuck to their faith in front of trials and possible death.
The holy spirit worked through them and around them.
