I posted a couple months ago about how my parents were angry that the church we all attend never tries to reach out to members who are ill or can't pay bills, ect. Well, they stopped going altogether, and now they don't go to any church. It's hard on me because my mom (she just married my step-dad a few years ago), raised us in the church. We all went out to lunch together almost every Sunday. Now we barely see each other, since Jay and I go every Sunday.
We have been going to our church still, but it's just not working. The pastor is just going over the same thing over and over (I know because I take notes). Also, the nursery people never feed or change Wesley, even though I ask them to and provide his snacks. Often when we pick him up, they just hand us a small bag of his wet clothes. They did not want to use cloth diapers, so I even brought disposables. The poor baby was screaming because he was so hungry. He recently stopped drinking formula, so he needs a lot of little snacks during the day, and I explain this. How hard is it to give him his puffs or cherios?!
We found a new church in our area, and we are going there this Sunday. Please pray that we can find a good fit. It's so hard to leave this church, and be without my mom during worship. I always treasured those things.

We are coming up on our one year anniversary at our church. It took us a long time to find this fit. But once you find it, it's so right. My mom and her husband are also going there and it's been so amazing to share this with her. I pray you find the right fit and that maybe it will be a good fit for your mom as well.
