What is it?

How often do you say it?

Why is it your favourite?

I dont have a favorite prayer because everyday that I pray its totally different. But I guess when I pray at night with my son, its the same prayer so he can memorize which he has.
Here is his prayer every night before going to bed:

Dear God,
Thank you for this day. Please protect me through the night and let me have sweet dreams. Protect all the sick people and my family. Let me have a good day tomorrow. I love you O Lord and thank you everything you have given me. In Jesus name. Amen

I don't think I have a favorite prayer but I use to always love praying Hail Mary when I was in Catholic School. It was really comforting to me.

Our father

I say it ever night and sometimes during the day

Its my favorite because it was the first prayer i learned and my mom taught it to me and i just say that prayer then after i say it i say what i want but i always start with that.

My favorites arent pre-written. They are just the ones that come from the heart be them spoken or unspoken.

The only memorized prayer I say is the Lord's Prayer, (Our Father).
Sometimes my brain is bouncing around like a ping-pong ball on 1000 different things and I can't focus enough to stay praying more than 2 seconds. At this point I will start reciting the Lords Prayer over and over until I can focus and continue on with other prayers of my heart.

Nope no favorites since like Melissa they are always different every day but I'll share the one my DS made up that we say every night before dinner that I do LOVE...

God is great, God is good
Let us thank Him for our food & our family & our lives.
