It has been far too long since I have posted here.
My last post was an update back in September or late August. We moved in August and shortly afterwards were blessed with a BFP. My pregnancy is just over halfway done and we are eagerly anticipating the arrival of our surprise baby. This pregnancy is different for me in that I am seeing a midwife in hopes of having a natural childbirth this time. I've been doing some research about what I can do to help me through labor and delivery and have ordered a book called Christ Centered Childbirth. I am so excited to get it. All the other methods like Bradley and Hypnobabies just don't appeal to me; I feel that if anyone is going to help me reach this goal it is God and if anyone should gain glory for my success in accomplishing it, it should be Him.
My friends and I are also starting up a new bible study with the book Calm My Anxious Heart. Has anyone read or heard of it? We are blessed to be reading it with a non-believer who has recently moved to the states from Austria.
I hope this finds you all doing well; I am eager to jump back in here and be more active
Haven't heard of the book but it sounds wonderful & it is GREAT that you get to do it with an unbeliever & hopefully lead him/her to Christ.
Mike & I are doing wonderfully... the latest news on me is that we had a laprascopic surgery just a few wks ago where the dr found my ovary attached to my abdominal wall. Well, he fixed that & now we are going to try naturally for 3 cycles before going back for more meds. You can read all the updates & even see pics on my blog... Galatians 4:22-23
WB Congratulations on your upcoming sweet surprise! (that's what my Caitie was and what a blessing she is!)
I would've loved to have gone natural...I really hope you get the opportunity. Those books/studies sound good!
Glad to see an update.
