Today is a selfish question on my part. I have a horrible sunburn, and I need your help. What are your remedies?

Oh my gosh! Me too! I went swimming at a friends house yesterday, and I am burned to a crisp! I have some after sun gel from Bath and Body Works. I haven't tried it yet, but I am going to later. Also, if you have aloe vera gel, it does cool down the burn. The after sun stuff has that in it, and I know that's what my mom used on me when I was a kid. I hope that helps!

Aloe vera is all I can say. Sorry, ladies! Sunburns are the worst!

I usually just suffer for a couple of days.
If it is too bad, I just have dh put a bunch of aloe on it.

Oh my word, this is so bad that it's almost a week later and it still hurts in some parts. It was so bad at first I had to stay in the house for three days because I couldn't stand to wear a bra or anything! Yesterday was the first time I wore a bra and it was to church and one of my friends told me that she put reusable nursing pads under the strap of her bra because otherwise there was NO WAY she could wear one. So that is what I did today, and it feels so much better. This morning, I bought a HUGE thing of aloe vera gel. I want to be prepared for next time! ACK!
