Entry for July 2, 2006

Well, we went to church today as usual. We were a little disappointed again, because there were so few people there today. When you go to a church where there are only 20 people attending, when a few families are out, you really notice how empty everything looks. School vacation doesn't even start for another month over here.

After church, we went to a steak house over here (the Block House) for lunch. That was good, because we had not been there in a while. Afterwards, we walked a little downtown and enjoyed the weather. When we got home, I crashed for about 30 minutes until it was time to feed Matthew.

I then took the two older kids outside to play, and then the three of us went on a bike ride. After that, we ate supper, and then put the kids to bed. I then talked to my parents for a little over an hour and then I went to bed.

I did not really do too much today. I did two loads of laundry, and when DH got home, we went grocery shopping. I enjoy him going with me so that he can "help" me with the kids and groceries. We have been using two buggies lately when we shop, because the carts are so little.
Matthew can sit up for about a minute or two without falling over now. He is such a happy baby. Andrew is more than ready to go to kindergarten, if only he would go a whole week without pooping himself. Emily is over her strep throat, finally. Now we are just waiting to see if the kids catch the chicken pox from a friend who came over last week to play!!!
