A couple months ago, there was a rather scary armed robbery in my town that resulted in shots being fired in the middle of the street. Schools went on lockdown and eventually police escorted the kids to their busses/parents.
Today, the guy was arrested in Montreal, Canada. I'm so glad he's been caught and no one was hurt in the process. They think he committed four robberies in addition to the one here too.
Thanks to Jaidynsmum for my siggy!

I'm glad they caught him and no one was hurt, what a blessing. I will be praying that your town is able to recover from the shock of this, I can imagine that a lot of people must feel unsafe and scared still. Hopefully the fact that he has been caught will help ease everyones minds.
Yeah, I am glad he was caught and no one was hurt.
I was volunteering in my DD's school the other day and they had a lock down drill. It was really kind of creepy. Everyone hiding and turning all the lights off. I can only imagine how the kids and staff must have felt having to go through the real thing.
That's really scary! I'm so glad he was caught and no one was hurt. Praying that your town and those children especially will be able to heal now and move past this and that nothing like it happens again.
