It wasn't too early. I spent the morning in the ER. Here's what I posted on the DDC:
There was definitely a uterine pregnancy that didn't make it. What we saw Wednesday was confirmed today as a collapsed sac. As has been said, there is what appears to possibly be a sac in the left tube. This is absolutely the culprit of the severe pain. Because of the lack of extra blood-flow the OB isn't convinced that it's definitely a gestational sac he's seeing. (If it is, that means we conceived twins in a rare heterotopic pregnancy.) He doesn't want to geive the medication to dissolve an ectopic without knowing for sure that I have one because of side effects. He also doesn't want to go in surgically at this point because of the high risk of losing the tube if they do that.
I go back tomorrow afternoon for yet another ultrasound and another beta draw. This will *HOPEFULLY* help him to figure out what's going on.
I will try to continue to keep you ladies posted. If you would like to add me on Facebook, just PM me. I don't mind one bit.
Thank you all for the love and support through this loss.
Thanks to Jaidynsmum for my siggy!
