i've decided i'm going to start reading a chaper of the bible everyday to my baby. even though he/she isn't here yet, i think it's still a good idea to read the bible to him/her.

I think that's a wonderful idea! I am about to buy my Dd The Story for Children, which is a storybook Bible for children. It's really cute and has a lot of pictures so I think she will be interested.

I love that you're going to do this!

We read the bible every night with our girls. It's been part of their bedtime routine since they were babies. They each have their own bible appropriate for their age and we'll read a story or a few verses together before prayers. My teenagers will usually read on their own at this point but every once in a while they'll suprise us and want us to stay to read and pray with them. I absolutely loooove bedtime and this is a big part of why. I feel really blessed to get to have that time with them.
