I have a friend in my church who is feeling really discouraged right now and could use some prayer.

She's in her late 20's and recently moved in with her mom because she's been unemployed since August. She doesn't have the best relationship with her mother mostly because they don't share the same faith. Her mom doesn't hide the fact that she thinks Christianity is stupid.
My friend didn't live with her mom growing up so this is a new expirience for them both. She thought it would be a blessing for both of them at first, but it's been several months now and it seems to be getting harder for her every day.

She called me this morning in tears because she's been turned down for another job. This is now the fourth interview in a row that she's come away from being told it went really well and they wanted a second interview only to be told a couple days later that they went with someone else.

I mentored this girl when she was in high school. She is amazing! She's the kind of person whose joy and love for others is just impossible to hide. It's contageous. You can't be around her and not walk away in a better mood.

But I've been seeing that slowly fade away recently. It makes me so sad for her. All I feel like I can do for her right now is pray so I was hoping I could get some others to pray for her too.
