We had a great weekend at the lake. Everyone had a blast expect Rogan.....he did not seem to like it and wanted to go home. So this summer could be a tuff time for him, we spend 2 weeks in July there for swimming lessons. We also discovered our water pump is wrecked and we need another one. But the cabin is SQUIRL free !!! We had a couple living in the cabin last year !!

So what did everyone do this weekend ?

It was a long and emotionally exhausting weekend for me. In two days I had a family reunion, a wedding, and a funeral. I am trying to have a few lazy days before I go get Dh on Thursday.

I hope he comes around to enjoying it! That's good that there were no critters in the cabin.

We had Kayley's dance recitals this weekend. She did great! We also went to a friends recital. I'm all danced out.

The kids first birthday was on Saturday, but since I was out of town until Friday afternoon, we didn't plan anything big or last weekend. I took the kids to the park, so they could swing and took them grocery shopping with me to give DH some peace and quiet after having them alone all week. We just relaxed mostly. Sunday evening our church had a cookout down at a park on the beach. We didn't stay long because we had to get the kids to bed, but it was fun to let them explore the leaves and visit with people. It seems like since we had the kids we don't get to do a lot of that. Too many of the things that are designed for more fellowship are in the evenings and we have learned what happens if we keep the kids up ... (it is not pretty )

We didn't do much this past weekend. Mainly stayed around the house and did things that needing doing.

This coming weekend is going to be the busy one for me though.
