So, it's been a long time! Things have been SUPER hectic and busy. I wanted to post an update to say that Solas and Judah's goals have been changed from adoption by Grandma to adoption by me Grandma backed out on her case plan to get Solas back, and had never wanted to take on Judah as well. Their case worker really wants them to stay together so gave me first "dibs" as their adoptive placement I of-course said YES! I'm so very excited! My little family will be complete! From first adoption finalization to last, it will have been 13 months to go from family of one to family of five! The boys' adoption will be finalized in June, and Maliyah will be home in July, adoption finalized 6 months after that (so January). Olivia is still here and doing well, doesn't look like she's going anywhere anytime soon Caseworker is suspecting for her goal to be changed to concurrent, which means bios will still be "working their plan" (or not ) but she will also be placed into an adoptive home. This is to gain permanency as early as possible since it looks like bios will have their rights severed. I will have to decide at that point if I will be adopting Olivia, or if she will be moving on to another family for adoption. I would have to get special permission, since in California the max children in a home (for foster/adopt families) is 12 children, and special needs children count as 3 children. So I'm at 12 once these adoptions are final. We'll see where God takes us, if she's meant to be in our family forever, it will happen

What a blessing! I am glad that the boys will be with you for good now, and that they can stay together. I can't imagine wanting one grandchild and not the other, those poor boys. I'm so glad God gave them you to love them both.
