Chrystal you're making me hungry! (or maybe it's really the babies making me hungry. ) Now I'm craving meatloaf.

Hope Kyren has a fun and safe time at camp! How long will she be there? Is it a church camp?

It always makes me so excited when I hear about kids going to summer camp! I attended a Christian horse camp (that had a themed tv show at one point!-if you can guess what that is ) when I was little, then at 14 participated in their leadership program, after that I volunteered there 8 weeks each summer for a few years (and met my husband when I was 16) Every year we go back there only if to help out for 2 or 3 days! Camp was THE biggest, and best influence on my life! I can't wait until I have kids old enough to send!

Justin and I went to the same church camp as kids and both worked there some too. I still run their family camp sometimes when I'm available. Don't think I'll be able to this year though.
Camp really is awesome isn't it?! Can't wait til my kids are big enough either.

I remember my first time at church camp, I felt so 'grown up' lol.

The search is still on for a church here in Hawaii, I liked the church we went to today enough to warrant another visit but I am not sure it 'clicked' like I think a home church would. The thing that I am trying to deal with in my search is that a lot of churches here have women pastors, and I'm honestly not sure how I feel about that. It's not that I don't agree with it, it's that I am honestly not sure if I do or not. I have never been to a church with a woman pastor-or that ordained women pastors at all-so it is new to me. What are y'alls thoughts on it?

I have never been to a church with a woman pastor either. I love Joyce Meyers though.

My old church back home had a woman pastor and my current church, the last 2 have been women. I'm perfectly ok with it. Our current pastor is a woman and she is wonderful.

I'm in denial that it's August and that school is about to start again so soon! Ours starts on the 22nd, registration is the 8th. This is our last slow week...next week Jacob starts football, and Clara starts cheerleading.

It's our last slow week too. And I think I'm taking advantage of it a little too much.
Varsity sports start back up on Monday which means soccer for Meg. I can't believe she's going to be a junior this year! Registration and all of that starts on the 13th and classes start on the 20th.

You all make me kinda miss school - LOL!! But, in a way it seems like I just graduated and then I can't believe that was 6 years ago either. Man, I feel young and old at the same time.
