I don't know if it necessarily shows a Christian heart, but I LOVE paying for the person behind me in the Timmies drive thru! (actually last time I went to do this the person ahead of me paid for mine!)

Also this past Sunday I was in the city and got to attend my home church! They were so short staffed for volunteers in the Nursery that I stayed in there for both services. I will be listening online to the message because I didn't get to hear it, but I am just not a person who can say 'oh it's someone else's job' I always take it on myself to step in and help out.

I love paying for random people too, it brings a smile to my face and I don't know if this constitutes as a a Christian act but I love visiting older people in nursing homes. My grandma ran a nursing home when I was growing up and she would always bring us to the visitors whose families never came and visited.

I love helping those that need help. We don't have a lot of money so it's usually not money that we help with but rather helping them maybe "do" something. Just last night we brought a steak dinner over to our neighbors house that has a little baby. I helped an older neighbor by taking her to the store to get her meds, things like that.
