Okay, so DH and I never go out...NEVER. We usually are content watching a movie at home. He is in a band for fun and they gig out like once every few months. I love going and he loves having me come. My youngest dd is 16 months and is still nursing. I've never pumped...no paci's or bottles ever. She eat lots of food but nurses for comfort a lot. She does sometimes wake after she goes to bed around 8 in which I usually nurse her back to sleep. Sometimes, dh has been able to pat her back to sleep.

Both my little ones have colds. My oldest is just a little congested but seems fine and comfortable. My youngest, the 16 month old has an on and off slight fever of 101. She has a runny nose, no ear infection (dh checked) and I think it's secondary to teething because she is cutting a lot of teeth and id drueling. Last night she was up a lot and miserable. Today she has been acting fine despite all the mucus lol. So, I'm debating whether or not to put her to bed and let grandma babysit. If she wakes up I'm only 10 minutes away so I could come home. I feel sort of guilty. Part of me says don't go, bc I need to be with my babies. the other part knows that this is important to dh and that if she seems okay, it is okay. We never do anything so this is always our little adventure out together.

What would you do?

Personally I would go. I think it is just as important to foster a relationship with your Dh as it is with your children. If she seems okay and goes to bed fine then I would go. Like you said if she wakes up your only 10 minutes away, not an hour or more.

I'm glad you're going, because you totally should. It's Grandma, and you're only 10 minutes away. Hope you have a fun night. btw. cool to watch your dh in a band.

I am glad you decided to go to! The clincher for me was when you said you would only be 10 minutes away.
