Oh yes!!!

Since we've been at the beach, ive been reading a novel called "Pure" by Jullianna Baggott. A friend of mine recommended it. It's very weird and apocalyptic but it's actually been really good.

Before the beach though, I was reading "Evidence that demands a verdict" by Josh McDowell (basically it's evidence for Christianity). It's not an easy read at all but it's got a lot of good info in it. I kind of read it like a reference book.

Last week I finished a book called The Core (which I mentioned in ericas homeschool thread). It's about classical education.

As far as the Bible...I'm TRYING to read Levitucus and some of the old testament so I can understand Jewish history.

Oh!! Before The Core, I had started "A Lineage of Grace" by Francine Rivers (fav Christian fiction author). I've read the stories of Tamar and Rahab, which were both awesome and now I'm on the last woman in christs' lineage but I forget who it is...lol

I always read about 3 or 4 things at one time!! Haha.

I read more in the summer while at the pool or on vacation but otherwise, if I really get into something, I'll sit and read while everyone else is watching tv.
jeweluv likes this.

Do you read ? I do like to read but I go in spurts
What book right now ? I have one fictional book but the topic is evidence for Christianity, and it's not very good for right before bed. I'm also reading a Kevin Leman book called why your best is good enough, it's for perfectionist, which I am not, but it's still an interesting read.
Is there a certain time you get to read ? If I do, it's before bed.

Do you read ? I love to read, but lately I've been traveling so much by car I have gotten into audio books
What book right now ?I'm listening to the Hunger Games books right now, and my paper book that's on deck is called The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven
Is there a certain time you get to read ?Usually just right before bed.... but I've been so tired lately that it doesn't last more than a minute or 2 before giving up and falling asleep

I love to read!! Haven't had as much time to really enjoy it lately as I would like though. The last book I read was a parenting book I can't even remember the name of. I also recently re-read The Red Tent. One of my favorites.

I just started a really long and intense bible study. It goes through the whole bible really in depth. Doing one session a week would mean it would take me 4 years to finish. I'm doing two a week. 4 weeks in and still on Genesis. That really takes up almost all of my free reading time but I'm enjoying it so far and I really want to finish. So I won't be reading much else for a while.

What book right now ? I do bible studies every week. I'm reading a lot of Christian based books/articles/studies right now to learn as much as possible!! (I have a huge list of WONDERFUL books to look into thanks to you kind ladies =))))
Is there a certain time you get to read ? when the kids are asleep...lol, if they aren't, I can't leave them alone for a second without trouble, haha. I also can't relax unless they are in bed.
