Fires are out, not as close to us as the ones in the spring, but it was pretty smoky! all is well, but we lost power with a freak snow storm that snapped all kinds of trees and hydro poles Wed. night. Still no power at our house (also means no internet ) but we are visiting my MIL for thanksgiving, and hopefully by tomorrow we will be turned back on!

Seems like the area we are in is prone to mini disasters! Due to it's location it's hard to get help/equipment out there! Glad to be in the city for a few days!
