Sarah Faith is HOME!!! She came home on Friday January 11th after 103 days in the NICU!! She's still on oxygen and a heart monitor but is eating well and otherwise healthy. 4lbs 9oz and 17 3/4 inches.
Leah Hope is still in the hospital. She's recovering from her 2nd major surgery and it will probably be another month or so before she can come home. But she looks really good today. 3lbs 4oz and 17 inches.
I just want to thank you all again for all your prayers. They have really brought us through some very dark days.
I haven't been here long enough to know anything about it, but I love hearing the news regardless. 102 days is a LONG haul! Hope your other baby is able to come home too, and bless your heart, that is a LOT of work and stress! (had my own preemie, not nearly as early as your 2, but you've been through a lot)
YAY!!!!!! That's great news Audrey!! So glad to hear Sarah is home and hope that Leah will join her shortly!! I'll keep praying for you as I know your heart is still split between 1 home and 1 still at the hospital - hang in there!
Thanks so much for the update!
Baby #2 is on the way!! PROVERBS 3:5-6
I pray all goes well from here on out...I'm new so wasn't around to know all what happened but glad one is home now and will pray for the other!
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
