View Poll Results: How many times do you clean your house?
I voted every other day. It seems that I tidy up every day but clean up here and there every other day. The kitchen is the first room you see when you walk into the house so it is my new priority to keep it clean. I think I will be like Heather, clean it as soon as you make a mess. Beats cleaning caked on food!
I voted every day, because I do something or other every single day. Every day I sweep the kitchen and living room (the living room is hardwood) at least twice a day--after lunch and after supper. We also clean up ALL toys before lunch, TV time and supper, and I run the dishwasher almost every day. I know that's not the most energy efficient thing to do, I just hate having dirty dishes sitting around overnight, even in the dishwater. About every two weeks I have a "cleaning bonanza" day--I change the sheets, do all laundry, iron, clean the bathrooms, dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, run the Swiffer under the living room furniture, sweep the porches and try to do one or two "special" jobs, like clean the refrigerator, wipe down cabinets, wash a few windows or something like that.
I have 5 young children, so I voted every day. I dont' do much on sundays, tidy the kitchen, sweep the floor and sometimes if it desperately needs it vacuum the living room (especially with a 9 month old that loves to put stuff in her mouth).
My house can go from spic and span to disaster in a matter of hours, if I don't keep on top of things. And I don't want to talk about laundry (I just got back from camping), there is a LOT.
