Is anyone here involved in their churches Junior choir (or something of the equivalent). What resources do you use?
Just curious, I do the junior choir here and wouldn't mind finding out what others have used and really liked.
our church tried a junior choir and it hasn't worked out really well.
((HUGS)) and prayers for strength and patience as you start this journey.
you really need dedicated kids and parents to make it work
stay at home, homeschooling momma to Jacob(12), Alisha(10), Andrew (5)
I am doing jr. choir at my church this year with my hubby helping out. I am so scared to do it. They have tapes and music books - mostly musicals and some Marantha for kids type music. We have a pianist to play. We are starting next Tuesday night with practice...keep me in your prayers, lol. We are starting out with some Steve Green Hide Em In Your Heart songs.
The resources we have used a LOT is "all the best programs for kids" book one and two. They are great, we used just about everything in it. It's published by Lillenas.
I've done Junior Choir for a few years now, but we're not starting untill mid october.
