Do I ever! Last Friday night my DH and his brother got into this huge fight! (Partly because my BIL had insulted me and my husband was sticking up for me but then other things were brought up). Well already stories are going around the rest of the family, words were twisted and people are taking sides and putting me in the middle. They seem to forget that my loyalties lie with my husband. I already got a call from my MIL telling me that my husband isn't walking with God because right now he refuses to talk to his brother. He has to cool down before he'll say more things he'll regret. I'm just soooo frustrated with the whole thing. And all my In-laws seem to think I have this magical power over him, that I can get him to do whatever I want. They seem to think I have him whipped... which I DON'T get at all. It's because they don't see me as a submissive wife. The thing is I do submit... I just don't do it blindly and my husband listens and respects what I have to say. I'm just so frustrated by everything, I know my phone will be wringing off the hook with family members trying to put me in the middle of everything when I'm on my husband's side. And they'll call during the day because they know my husband isn't there, which makes things even more uncomfortable and almost like I'm sneaking these conversations behind his back.

Sorry if none of thise made sense... I'm just frustarted.

It all made sense. Sorry that you are going through all of this. I will be praying for you.

This week will be less stressful for me than next. Although, a little stressful. Yesterday at church I got a huge disappointment when only a few people signed up to take my sunday school class. The pastor is doing one on different religions and do all paths lead to God...so more than half of the SS attendance chose that class. I was so upset, since I was so excited for this, but oh well. I will be preparing for that this week. Next week jr. choir practice starts, so I will be preparing for that as well. This Thursday I get my wedding rings back from the jeweller (I haven't worn them for over a year ) AND a full body massage (valentine's gift from Steve) so I am looking forward to it. But then Friday I have a scary doctor's appointment AND the new youth pastor is coming for supper...so I think we will be busy after all!

I'm sorry about the terrible situation you are in. I think you are being a very good wife to your husband by not wanting to go behind his back to talk to his family. My sister and I got into a huge fight the day after my mom's wedding. It all blew over about 3 days later. Don't worry, this will all get resolved. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Yes, I fore-see a VERY busy week for myself.

DH is leaving today for a business trip and won't be back until Friday night or Saturday morning. Tomorrow night I've got to drop the kids off at a friends house then be at another friends house at 7 pm for Praise and Worship song practice.

Wednesday night is church and I'm hoping that I don't get a phone call asking me to cook something....it's too hard with getting two kids ready for church AND having to cook and bring food. Of course Wednesday I've also got my Teen Class that I need to do more studying on the lesson.

Thursday evening my friend is having a Pampered Chef party...hopefully I can find a babysitter for this, otherwise, I just won't go.

I always look forward to 5:30 when DH gets home from work, so it'll be a little crazy and I'll go a little bit insane having to deal with the kids 24/7....but people do it all of the time so I know it can be done!
