Since I'm homeschooling the boys and Xander has started already I've made sure we're having bible study everyday so they can learn the stories of the bible. I know Lucas is too young to comprehend it but Xander gets it even more than I thought he would. Well last week were were learning about Moses. So yesterday my husband and I were watching television and the boys were playing in their bedroom and all of the sudden were the name Moses being yelled out. So we turned down the tv and Xander's directing Lucas on how to be Moses. We got up and went to look on them this is what we saw and heard...
They were both standing on Xander's bed...
"Okay Lucas hold up your arms like this." He raised his arms and then Lucas did the same. Lucas was playing the part of Moses... I think Xander was just a random Isrealite.
Then Xander fell of the bed and yelled... "HEY MOSES I FELL IN THE WATER!"
That's too cute! It reminds me of when my brother and I were little. We use to play on our beds all the time and pretend it was a boat. All of our stuffed animals and my dolls were out in the "water" and we had to save them. It sounds like Xander is really learning from what you are teaching him. Good job, mom!
