I saw your post in the Bible study thread and just wanted to welcome you here. We are always so excited to get new members. We are a small, but devoted group. Oh, I'm Stacey, btw.....I think I must know you from another forum b/c your pic of your daughter looks so familiar.
Hi wanted to add a little welcome too.
Welcome to the board I think I saw you post somethings in the homeschooling board and that your thinking about doing so when your daugher is over. It's good to see you here too!
I skip around in these forums a lot. Forgive me for not appropriately introducing myself.
I am Stephanie (33), wife to Lodie and mom to Mollie (17 months) with another on the way *due in June.* I consider myself a SAHM b/c I only work 6 days a month. I am an RN at a spinal cord injury unit. I have newly come appreciate reading the Bible and learning about Christianity. We are baptist and started going to church once Mollie was born. I was not raised in a church (my husband was), neither of my parents went to church or was knowledgable about the Bible, so this is ALL new to me, but I am already in love with it and excited by it. I look forward to what your forum can provide in helping me continue to understand the Bible and in getting to know Jesus and the holy word.
Dinamommy, I too have seen you around but I cannot remember which forum either.
And yes, Jenny, I have been picking the Homeschooling mom's brains lately. When my husband "found out" I 've been considering it, he's very adamant that she/they will not be homeschooled! We'll see!
I'll try to be a descent poster, but I am actually a better lurker/reader!
Heh... if it helps any I was adamently against homeschooling too and my husband wanted to do it. It took me about a year before Xander was born to
decide that I wanted to homeschool any kids we might have. I was all about research... maybe he'll come around. I'm all about it now... I still look stuff up and read books and such
Welcome. I admire homeschooling mommies. Not sure I could do it, but DH and I definitely have open minds about it.
I was a stinker in school so I have no idea how I would even attempt to teach another person, lol.
