Hello my name is Charlotte and my son Sebastiaan Isaiah is just over 7 weeks old. Id love to join this forum as religion is important to me and I want Sebi to learn about my faith
do you know any nice childrens christian songs I could sing him?
Hello Charlotte and welcome!
Your son is adorable! As far s christian songs; any song will do. I've always sung all kinds of songs to kids; worship, hymns, children's since they were born. If you are talking about buying a CD or something, Veggie Tales has a fun one called "Sunday SChool Songs", Cedermont Kids has a lot of faith based sing alongs as well.
Hi Charlotte! We're so glad to have you join us. You're baby is so cute!
I'm Stacey and have a little 2 1/2 year old girl.
As for the songs, I use to sing "I Love You, Lord" to my daughter when I would rock her to sleep and "You Are My Sunshine" (not sure if that's really a Christian song, but it's so sweet and Ty loves it to this day). "Jesus Loves Me" is always a good one. I agree with Krista. You should look into getting a Chrisian children's cd and learn some of those songs.

Do you have access to the music software "finale" or the freeware version of "finale notepad?" If so, pm me and I can email you several songs (to print or listen to) that I've been compiling for a children's songbook the past few years. I've got over 100 songs so far... I just haven't had time to finish the book or to finish a bunch of other songs (probably 100 more) that are still on cassettes I have. A lot of these are traditional songs that have been passed down for generation. I'm sure some are probably copyrighted. Some I wrote myself. I'm not planning to sell the book anyway, so it really doesn't matter. They're to be used as the authors intended... to teach children. That's it.
