I'm feeling sad that the neighborhood coffee house may be going out of business. About a year and a half ago. This really nice Christian couple went on a dream to own a coffee house. It was just the thing the neighborhood needed. Someplace where even the teens could hang out enjoy some good music and a non alcoholic drink. In a Christian based atmosphere. A place that is very clean run. Now the owners may have to close after being in business such a short time. Business did not take off as well as they planned. I gave them credit for trying to take a vacent building. Turn it in to something positive for the city. Not another tavern full of rowdy drunks which we have to many in the area. Randy and Victoria are the owners. Right now I been praying for them and their business. I will miss that coffee house if it closes. Yeah there are other coffee houses. But not one like this where the owners treated you like family. Also a friend of mine was using the back room on Wednesday nights to teach bible study. I would go to this friends bible study on Wednesdays when I don't work.
I know what you mean about having a decent place in town. I live in a town of 5100, and get this, we have 7 bars and 2 liquor stores. Ridiculous, huh? I wish our town had a nice place like that. I will be praying that your friends get to keep their shop. It sounds like it is beneficial to the whole town. I'll pray that God will bless them.
