Today we got a call from our church saying a package had arrived for us. DH picked it up after work, and it was full of toys for the boys - a spiderman & friends fire station megablocks set and a knight lego set for Elijah (he's in heaven!!) and a Fisher Price toolbench and cd player for Ezekiel (music and banging on stuff - his two favorite things! )... we are so blessed! There was a note in the box wishing us a Merry Christmas, and we have no idea who sent it. We've never gotten mail through the church before! I feel bad not knowing who sent it because I would love to be able to say thank you, but I guess I'll just have to thank God instead and ask him to bless our anonymous friend.
I have two EXTREMELY happy little boys right now, and my heart is full of joy.
Ezekiel was dancing to the music in case you're wondering what he's doing... lol
Isn't it wonderful to be blessed like that? I think I posted about my huge Christmas blessings this year. I think God just lays a persons name on the heart of another person, and when it is done anonymously, there is no one to thank but Him. Hope your kiddos enjoy the toys!
Doesn't it make you feel good that someone was thinking of your boys? That is so fun![/b]
YES!! That's exactly what it is. To be honest, I couldn't think of a single thing to ask for for myself for Christmas... I don't need anything, and the only things I want are non-tangible (ie. Elijah to be healed of his peanut allergy and asthma!). But to see the joy on my boys' faces when they opened that box... it moved me to tears. They are such good little guys and deserve the whole world.
Awwww!! Thank you so much for sharing those pictures with us!! It actually makes me feel kind of bad because Tyrael has SO many toys and sometimes she doesn't play with them at all. They look really happy.
