I decided I needed to see someone again for everything. With Leila's birth a lot of stuff has been rehashed and with Ryan and I fighting like we are things are just not good for me. I have seen her twice now and so far so good.

I really think I should write a book about it all lol.

Thanks! It's more or less just current stressors combined with the missing being there for Olivia. It is hard separating it all...

It is hard isn't it?

You have these intense emotions linked to an invisible person and though at times they may lessen, they are always present.

An unnatural (not to be confused with wrong or bad) has taken place in your life- adoption, even as wonderful as it can be, still grapples with a mother's innate natural instincts to care for and nurture her child.

For me, the comfort was knowing who my children are and having images of them to look at and even just dream about.

Talking things out always helps me and I hope you find someone who can just be your rock.

Thank you for your kind words. You seem to have a grasp over the emotions and feelings that plague a birth mother. My Mommy is definitely my rock...she has supported me throughout the whole process in spite of all the pain it has caused her.
