I was just curious if you helped name your child? My Dh and I did get to help name her, her adoptive parents and we worked together to get her name.

Yes, we agreed on her first name and I gave her, her middle name.

I named her Rebecca Lynn

They gave her a different first name, but kept Rebecca as her middle name.

No...I felt like that honor should be her mom's alone. I felt like my feelings on the issue shouldn't be important since this was her child. I don't think it is bad if anyone chose to do differently I just felt like that was what was right for me and her family.

They chose the first name as a family name but her middle name, Anne, is name from my family. She is a 5th generation Anne.
