I got an email recently from Sara(Olivia's mom) saying that Olivia was accepted into the gifted program in their city!! I am sooo unbelievably proud of her! She took a standardized test in 3 areas....verbal, quantitative, and non verbal. She did well in the first two areas (in the 80's) however, in her non verbal ability (stuff like geometry and how things go together) she tested in the 99th percentile. That means only 1% of kids in the nation did better than her!

I remember when we visited together when she was just two her being able to do a 30 and a 50 piece puzzle in the time we ate dinner so this all makes sense to me! And I LOVE LOVE LOVE that her mom mentioned in the email that I must have given her good genes...so special of her!

Thanks *Kiliki* for the precious siggy!

That's great! She sounds so smart! Yoou are proud for good reason.

Thank you to the wonderful ladies who mad the blinkies!

"The Lord compensates the faithful for every loss. That which is taken away from those who love the Lord will be added unto them in His own way. While it may not come at the time we desire, the faithful will know that every tear today will eventually be returned a hundredfold with tears of rejoicing and gratitude..... These experiences, while often difficult to bear at the time, are percisely the kinds of experiences that stretch our understanding, build our character and increase our compassion for others."
