Think about one of the strangest things you've heard about adoption.... what was it? And what was your reaction/response??

Gosh, I've heard lots of strange things.

Just the other day I told a new co-worker that I was going to see my daugther and he said "you aren't allowed to do that" I asked why not? and his reply...."thats not how adoption works"
I was like umm okay, its called an open adoption, but thanks for your input.

A lot of people have also said to me something along the lines of "Oh so you didn't care about your daugther" I usually just ignore the comment, but once snapped back and said "no, If I didn't care about her then I would have had an abortion, so STFU"....apparently I was in a bad mood that day lol
