I got a call from Rebecca thanking me for the Christmas presents. My phone was on silent so I missed it, but she left a voice mail. She said that she loved the recordable book, and it was so cool that she got to hear my voice when ever she wanted to
and the said she wants to see me soon.
I cried, and cried and cried.

It made me sad and happy all at the same time. I can tell that it wasn't just prompted by her parents, you can hear it in her voice, she really does want to see mee again soon. I've been waiting for that for 7 1/2 years, for her to be the one who wants to see me

Oh wow Katie! That is great news! I am sooo excited for you! I am so glad that things are going well with you and Rebecca! It is nice to know that your child actually wants to see you and not being prompted. I feel that way sometimes with Cheyenne, but here lately, she has this thing where I just know that she is the one that wants it! I just can't get over the excitement for you Katie!

I also got a call on Christmas from Cheyenne and it was the best Christmas gift I got this year. Plus, Jesse and I are going up in February for my birthday to see her. I am so excited!
