My daughter's birth dad text me at 1 AM (seriously?) and said he is going to see Rebecca tonight and asked me if I wanted to come! I called him this morning and was like, seriously why wait until 1 AM the day of to invite me.....he says he has been meaning to call but kept forgeting. Typical man. But who cares, I get to see her tonight!!!

These experiences, while often difficult to bear at the time, are percisely the kinds of experiences that stretch our understanding, build our character and increase our compassion for others."
