Birth mom present idea?

Hey ladies! We got **the call** and were chosen to be parents to a baby girl due June 26th.

My question is this...I want to make her a charm bracelet but want to make sure that's something that she would want. I was thinking of one "Mom" charm with the birth stones of her two boys on it and one for the baby girl....then a 2011 charm with the baby girl's birthstone on the "0"...and maybe add my DS, DH, and my birthstone to it. I know her and her, her husband, and two boys' birth months too....idk what other charms to do though. What are your thoughts?

I think I like the idea of just the birthstone charm for the three children and the 2011 one only. Will it be an open adoption? If so each year for the baby girl's birthday, you could send a charm that acknowledges that years growth. Like when she goes to kindergarten could send something signifying that. I would have LOVED that. It would be personal and require connection...something a lot(not all) birth moms crave and need.

That's a great way to do it. I already bought the bracelet and 2011 charm but got stuck on the rest. It is an open adoption and I am so happy!!!!! She texts me back and forth all the time, usually daily. We have a great connection and it just feels right. We get along great, and if there is a misunderstanding, we both very comfortable asking for clarification. She treats me like a girlfriend instead of a maternal figure, which is great. I can't wait to see our baby! We go back when Cassidy is 6 mos old to finalize and the birth mom is excited to see us then.
