So I will be working on the calendar anytime soon and through the weekend.

The Pagan Wheel of the Year as I understood it consists of:

(Northern Hemisphere, as an example)

Feb 2 - Imbolc

Mid-March - Ostara

May 1 - Beltane

Midsummer - Litha

Aug 1 - Lughnasadh

Mid-September - Mabon

Oct 31 - Samhain

Midwinter - Yule

I have the astrological dates for the "fixed date" festivals and I also have the astrological dates for the Southern Hemisphere as well as all the full moons and new moons. I thought that most Pagans generally celebrate these points of the year, including Wiccans.

However, Sandy drew my attention to there being some variants, eg Saturnalia, in some strands of Paganism such as Asatru.

I am going to look further into any further important dates in Asatru, Druidism, Shamanism, etc to add to the calendar. If anyone knows of any - even if you just know the names of the festivals so I can google them - it would be wonderful if you can list them in this thread. Dates would be even better and brief descriptions would be fantastic!

I would offer help but I don't know anything about other holidays other than what I would be able to Google. If someone doesn't raise a stink about not being included, maybe it could be forgone? What do you think?
