Agrimony

Agrimony is a perennial that is usually found in the woods or fields. This herb is hepatic, expectorant and an astringent.

Remedial

Internally
Aids in sleeping, try making an herbal pillow or eye mask! It's name can be translated to mean "heal the eye". This herb contains tannin, which is a large part of where the healing properties come from. Drink it for a cough or gargle for a sore throat. Taken internally can also heal the liver. Used mainly today for hepatitis and jaundice (because it heals the liver). This herb is said to help cleanse the blood when it is ingested.

Externally
An agrimony wash is great for oily skin and acne. The tannic acid within the herb is useful in a poultice to draw out venemous insect bites and inflamed sores.

Magical
Dream Pillow
Combined w/ mugwort for psychic healing, such as ritual and aura cleansing.
Repels all forms of negative energies.
