Go to the craft store and get one of those styrafoam balls (or any shape). Grab a piece of wire (you can even bend a hanger and cut it to fit) and insert it into the ball like a staple. Hang the ball (through the wire) from a piece of string. Insert your herb stems into the ball (make them different sizes etc..). When you're done tie a ribbon to the staple thingy and rehang anywhere inside your house.
I thought it'd be a good idea to do a lavender ball and hang it in the children's room to help them sleep. Of course you'd have to change this out often as the herbs would dry up and no longer have a smell - BUT then you'd have dried lavender (or whatever else herb).
Keep in mind though if you're wanting to keep the dried herbs to not hang them in direct sunlight or the constituents of the herb will go bye bye
