Avens only bears one flower per stem and is pretty small in measure. Also called the Blessed Herb and Herb Benedicta.

The root is used more than the flowering part.

Flavors liquor and roots can be placed w/ clothes to ward off insects and moths. Collect roots at the beginning of spring. They take a bit to dry out. The root is good for diarrhea, dysentery and other bowel problems. Used for sore throats, colds and fevers. Is able to stop bleeding.

Spiritual
This is an herb that can be used for protection Blocks all forms of negative energy.
