Winter is coming to an end and spring is around the corner. The sun rises earlier and longer.



Also known as: Horning Moon, Hunger Moon Storm Moon, Red and Cleansing Moon, Wild Moon, Big Winter Moon, Quickening Moon, Solmonoth (Sun Month)
Nature Spirits: house faeries of both the home and of the house plants
Herbs: Sage, Spikenard, Hyssop, Balm of Gilead, and Myrrh.
Colors: light blue, violet.
Flowers: Primrose
Scents: Heliotrope and Wisteria
Stones: Amethyst and Jasper
Trees: Laurel, Rowan and Cedar
Animals: Unicorn, Otter
Birds: Chicadee and the Eagle
Deities: Brighit, Kuan Yin, Juno, Persephone, Demeter, Diana, Aphrodite
The power flow of the Moon: purification, personal growth, and healing. This is the time to start fresh, accept past errors and make plans for changes.

no but i need to come up with some thing fast - the lione above about the power of the moon? well i need to use THAT aspect for sure. but what to do, what to do. sigh... any suggestions?

Full moon rituals start the day before, the day of and the day after the full moon. Two more days away!!

Ahh, this is so bitter sweet. I love full moons, but I'm pretty sad to see winter go.

As far as doing anything, I'll probably just do my usual and stand outside under the light if it's not too cold.
