So Karmen is alllllwwwaaayyysss getting into the dishwasher when I'm loading/unloading it...so a minute ago, I thought well, maybe she'll help me?

Anyway, she kept grabbing the silverware and so I said, "Hand it to me?" And she handed the spoon or whatever it was to me. And I said "THANK YOU!!" real elaborately for special effect and so she handed me every single one! LOL I didn't have to bend over at all to get the silverware. I didn't trust her so much with bowls and plates. It was funny because she wouldn't hand me another one unless I said "thank you!!" She'd just sit there and wait for me to say it. Then she'd grin real big and get another.

She's mommy's little helper.

That's awesome!! I love it.

And no, it's not child labor if it's chores in your own home! LOL

Peyton has grabbed a tissue and cleaned up the glass on our table! She loves to "help". Its so cute. Now she wipes her own nose and even wipes mine, although I don't need it wiped....So cute when they help...Now my 17 year old..that's another story!!

I think that's great! If you keep making chores fun like that, you may just continue to get help when she's older.

That is super sweet. I have found getting Addy involved makes all the chores go a lot easier. She helps put stuff in the washer and dryer. :-)

Aiden will grab things from the dishwasher and run off and play with it. He did try to help bring in the grocery one day. I put the bags into the living room and then started to move them into the kitchen and he was dragging a bag half way. He did great if it was a light bag but not a heavy one.
