I hardly watched any baseball this year and for the first time in as long as I can remember, I didn't even get to one live game this year. I guess that's what happens when you have a team that hasn't had a decent season in forever.

We watch Baseball all season long, and Tim is just as into it as I am. Heck last night I am making dinner, yelling at the TV in the other room. Phans in Philly, are just a breed of their own

Today's game was definitely better than yesterdays! I will root for any team to beat the Yankees! I do not like them as a team, and feel as if they are C O C K Y about the amount of world series they have won (Ya know the fact that they pay many of their players more a year than some teams get to spend on their entire roster... ok Well the Phillies dont have much room to talk with Ryan Howard's multi million dollar deal. But still. Championships are easy to come by, if you can choice pick and buy your players...)
I think the best way to show that Money isn't everything, is the fact that Cliff Lee, in fact, turned down the Yanks $150 million deal to return to philly for 30 million less. Over and over he said it was the fans amd Philly that made it a no brainier to return here!!
Quite frankly, as much as I would love to see the Phillies go to (and Win) the World Series, as long as the Yankees do NOT make it there, nor win the world series, I will be pleased!!

Phillies!! we aren't huge baseball fans, we are more football and hockey fans but we are of course from Philly soooooo yeah we are rooting for the Phillies. My DH is a big sports nut and while he doesn't watch every single baseball game during the season he follows the stats and all that jazz....he despises the Yankees too LOL

There's an overwhelming feeling of the same thing here, Laura. And it doesn't matter if our team is playing the Yankees or not - quit being asshats about it! I'm still sad they bought out one of my favorite players, although he's done awesome since going there. I just hoped he had more sense
